Energy & Environmental Science is a new journal linking all aspects of the chemical sciences relating to energy conversion and storage, alternative fuel technologies and environmental science. EES publishes exciting and high quality work, and its first official Impact Factor of 8.5 reflects this great content.

Energy & Environmental Science recognizes the high importance and interest of research on 1-D nanostructures for photovoltaics, and will wellcome papers on this topic presented at the Mallorca 2010 Conference. Please note that all submissions will be rigorously peer-reviewed according to the journal’s usual standards, administered by the Editorial Office. All accepted papers will appear in the same print issue, and a (free) copy of this issue will be sent to all authors.

Please submitt your contribution through the journal webpage http://www.rsc.org/ees indicating that the contribution is intended for the special issue “1-D nanostructures for photovoltaics”. The deadline for submission of papers for the special issue is strict at 5th September 2010.
